Android 8.1 Oreo stable is rolling out to Pixel and Nexus devices
Google has announced that the final, stable release of Android 8.1 Oreo will be rolling out to users starting today, i.e., December 5. The new Android 8.1 update will gradually roll out to the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 6P, and Nexus 5X devices without any requirement of side-loading or beta access.
The update comes alongside the new lightweight “Go” edition that manufacturers can choose to install on low-spec phones. There isn't an official changelog present at the moment, but it should bring the support for Visual Core Processing chip found in the new Pixel smartphones among other changes like Neural Networks API, Improvements to autofill, etc.
